Report: Foreign Students Cheat More Than Domestic Students

from USA Today

Professors at more than a dozen U.S. public universities filed about five reports of cheating for every 100 international students in the 2014-2015 academic year, a Wall Street Journal report found. The rate surpasses that of domestic students, where university officials reported one instance of cheating for every 100 domestic students. Professors who commented on the findings say some international students cheat because they're still trying to master English or don't have a grasp on U.S. standards of academic integrity, according to the newspaper. more
