Study: Poor sleep may increase your kid's risk of depression
from Health Newsline
Inadequate or disrupted sleep is known to cause daytime sleepiness, poor concentration, an increased risk of accidents and can lead to serious health problems over time as well, such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, stroke and obesity. Now a new research has linked lack of sleep to increased depression risk in kids later in life. If findings of the research are to be believed then lost hours of sleep at early age not only influence mental and physical well being but could have potentially devastating impact on a kid’s psychological health later.
