Organ donations from cancer patients 'on the rise'
Organ donations from patients who have had cancer are becoming increasingly common, says the body overseeing organ donations in the United Kingdom. The National Health Service (NHS) Blood and Transplant said that between April 2011 and the end of March 2016, 272 people with a history of cancer or malignancy donated their organs when they died, resulting in 675 organ transplants.
