Code Fellows pledges $5M to increase diversity in tech

Seattle coding school Code Fellows is joining with other code schools to create a scholarship fund to help increase diversity within technology ranks. The $100 million scholarship fund will award free tuition to students who are part of groups that are underrepresented within the tech industry, including women and minorities. Code Fellows is committing $5 million in scholarships to the Tech Opportunity Fund, and large coding school The Iron Yard is pledging $40 million.
