Manhunt for suspect in deadly Dallas crime spree ends with arrest in Georgetown

The man suspected in a deadly crime spree through Dallas and Cedar Hill was captured in Georgetown, police said. Silvestre Franco-Luviano, 40, was taken into custody about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of North Austin Avenue in Georgetown. A tip led police to the apartment where relatives of Franco-Luviano live, Georgetown Police Chief Wayne Nero said. Franco-Luviano's suspected crime spree began Sept. 25 when Dallas police officers found 33-year-old Ruben Junior Moreno dead in his vehicle.
