Energy-efficient tax credits set to expire
Janet Berry-Johnson writes: "Recently, I outlined a few popular tax breaks that are set to expire at the end of 2016. In addition to ones mentioned previously, a handful of credits aimed at promoting energy-efficient property are scheduled to expire this year as well. Congress may take action on these tax credits when they return for a lame-duck session after the November elections, but many believe that the era of energy tax incentives is coming to an end. Even if there are some last minute, stop-gap extensions to these credits, the measure would likely just delay their expiration for a year or two."
