Sea King pilot, flying instructor recalls a life spent up in the clouds
from The Register
As a little boy, Paul Dent knew he would be soaring high in the sky someday. At just five years old, he became smitten with airplanes after watching a Trans Canada Airlines DC8 take off down the runway. "I said 'I'm going to do that.' I never looked back," said Dent. Even a Grade 2 school photo showed Dent holding onto a small toy airplane. "I built a lot of model airplanes and I drew them too," said Dent. "I was just insane about airplanes."
