Alabama, Georgia declare state of emergency after pipeline spill
From Sept. 21:
Gov. Robert Bentley issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency in Alabama over concerns about fuel shortages in the wake of a gasoline pipeline spill that released about 250,000 gallons of gasoline south of Birmingham and shut down a major pipeline connecting refineries in Houston with the rest of the country.
