Woman accused of child abuse released from jail until trial
A Santa Fe woman who is accused of gruesome crimes against her own son is out of jail and under house arrest. She'll have to wear an electronic ankle monitor but won't have to pay bond as part of her pretrial release. Miranda Rabago was arrested in November after she rushed her 18-month-old son, Ares, to the hospital. At the hospital doctors found several severe injuries including a skull fracture, a brain bleed and a trauma known as black brain, which is often caused by being shaken at a young age.
