|Membership Fulfills Continuing Education Requirement
from Commercial Collection Agencies of America
Next month, the membership will head to its spring meeting, one of two in-person meetings each year which allows for members to fulfill the education component of their requirements to maintain the valuable certification which they hold.
Continuing education credits will be granted for attending advanced educational sessions including Business Credit Reporting, presented by Experian, one of Commercial Collection Agencies of America’s fellow Platinum Partners in the Credit Research Foundation. The session will include methods of data collection and best practices in use. A triadic panel of attorneys, collection agency representatives and law list publishers will present a session addressing Pre-Lawsuit Investigation and Recommendations, where each arm of the triad will delve into details of their responsibilities prior to a lawsuit being filed against a debtor firm. Additionally, Commercial Collection Agencies of America will again welcome the state regulators from North American Collection Agency Regulatory Association for roundtables discussions regarding compliance of state laws, examinations and audits.
Attaining advanced education satisfies not only the educational requirement for a Certificate of Accreditation and Compliance, granted annually from the group, but also ensures agencies are properly trained so they can continue to uphold professionalism in the collection industry.
If you are using a commercial collection agency, make sure that its certification is granted from Commercial Collection Agencies of America, whose program has the most rigorous requirements and is recognized as the premier platform and most endorsed program within the credit industry.
