Facing the Abyss: Planning for Death

"The hurrier you go, the behinder you get." Puzzlingly, the older and more "seasoned" I become, the more this bit of Amish wisdom is true. Especially when it comes to reading. I don’t have time to read. So, I was surprised when I found myself reading a recent publication from the National Quality Forum. However, as serendipity would have it, I am so glad I did. This publication, "Strategies for Change: A Collaborative Journey to Transform Advanced Illness Care" had me hooked with the introduction.
