AT&T's plan to deliver internet over power lines gets closer to becoming reality

AT&T has entered "advanced discussions" with power companies about a new technology to deliver multi-gigabit internet speeds over power lines. The talks are aimed at securing trial areas for the project, termed "Project Airgig," which the Dallas telco first talked about publicly in September.
