400 animals seized from Central Texas home; Caldwell County Sheriff's Office assists

Over 400 animals "living in their own filth" were seized from a Central Texas home earlier this week, according to a release from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Officials with the SPCA of Texas and the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office cleared out the home Monday. They found 421 animals alive in the home as well as "dozens of deceased animals," according to an SPCA news release.
