Apple investors reject bolder diversity push, again
from USA Today
Apple shareholders overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to focus on employee diversity among the tech company's senior management and board of directors. The proposal, brought for the second year in a row by Apple shareholder and music producer Tony Maldonado, asked for compensation to be tied to diversity shifts at the highest level of the storied iPhone and Mac maker. It was defeated with 95% of shareholders voting against.
