Save Our Seat in the AMA House of Delegates!
It is critically important that SCAI retain our seat in the American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates (HOD) so that the Society can continue to have a strong voice within the House of Medicine and strongly advocate for our specialty, our patients and, especially, for the value of our procedures.
We are in danger of losing our seat if more SCAI members do not join or rejoin the AMA.
Having a seat in the AMA House of Delegates –
Enabled SCAI to establish Interventional Cardiology as an independent subspecialty, with the right to bill for those subspecialty services.
Is necessary to preserve SCAI's independent voice and presence at the RUC, which determines the value and reimbursement for our procedures, directly impacting your bottom line.
Grants SCAI full access to the CPT Editorial Panel, where SCAI creates physician reimbursement pathways for new and emerging Interventional Cardiology technologies and procedures.
