Spring swap of veggie starts can change the flavor of your garden
from The Denver Post
The early weeks of the garden season are so messy. We’re excited to plant, but it’s too wet to dig without tromping mud into the house. We’ve shopped for bloomers to fill containers on the front porch, but it’s too cold at night to set out the tender babies. And for many of us, there’s dirt on the kitchen table, spilled as we prepared little peat pots where tiny seeds will sprout to give us a jump-start on the vegetable garden.
