Jindal Films Americas to invest in new polyester films plant
from Packaging Business Review
Flexible packaging and labeling manufacturer Jindal Films Americas (JFA) is looking to initially invest around $120 million on a new polyester plant at its U.S. headquarters in Georgia State. The move marks the company's foray into technical films segment. JFA plans to start operations at the new polyester plant in LaGrange in early 2019. It is likely to have a production capacity for 65,000 metric tons of film. The plant will feature two processing lines which will help JFA in manufacturing thin specialty and thick specialty films product ranges.
