from The Orange County Register
Costa Mesa City officials put shovels to dirt to kick off the $36 million overhaul of Lions Park. When construction crews are finished in 2020, the 12.8-acre park will feature a new library, a new Neighborhood Community Center and street, park and landscape improvements. Other additions are a cafe and an extra acre of open space that will be used to host concerts, farmer's markets, recreational programs and other events. A children’s playground will feature foosball and pingpong tables.
