Services for learning-disabled children: 83 per cent of Quebecers think province must do more
from Montreal Gazette
Armed with a survey suggesting that both the public and teaching staff are demanding better services for children with learning difficulties, the Centrale des syndicats du Québec is urging the province to act now. A Crop survey carried out for the CSQ, which represents most primary and secondary school teachers, shows that only 34 per cent of the citizens surveyed consider the public school system sufficiently funded to deal with learning-disabled students.
