AFib Ablation On Target in Advanced Heart Failure

Patients with advanced heart failure who were able to undergo catheter ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation (Afib) stayed out of the hospital and had better survival rates than patients treated medically, researchers reported. During a median follow-up of 37.8 months, combined mortality and worsening heart failure admissions rates came out in favor of the ablation group.
