Trump to consult with China's Xi Jinping on next moves with North Korea
from Washington Examiner
President Trump is scheduled to speak by phone this morning with Chinese President Xi Jinping to consult about the next moves regarding North Korea, which is showing signs of conducting another intercontinental ballistic missile test in defiance of international demands and U.N. resolutions. The talks come as Trump issued a veiled threat over the weekend to cut off trade with China. “The United States is considering, in addition to other options, stopping all trade with any country doing business with North Korea,” Trump tweeted Sept. 2. China is North Korea’s biggest trading partner.
