The voluntary merger of three Toronto hospitals is now official. As of Aug. 1, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has approved the plan which officially unites Providence Healthcare in Scarborough, and St. Joseph’s Health Centre and St. Michael's Hospital, both downtown, under one corporate entity. more
