Hospice and Palliative Social Worker Job Analysis Study
from University of Louisville
The Hospice and Palliative Social Worker Certification Project aims to create a certification program for hospice and palliative social workers based on an evidence-based outline of responsibilities, skills and knowledge essential to this specialty practice. Conducting a job analysis survey is the critical first step to define the content for the entry-level examination. The purpose of the job analysis study is to identify the most significant tasks and activities being performed by hospice and palliative social workers. The major source for obtaining this information is a national survey of actively practicing professionals in hospice and palliative social work.
If you are a practicing hospice and/or palliative social worker, you are invited to complete the survey. Please invite other social workers you know. The Hospice and Palliative Social Worker Job Analysis Survey will be open Sept. 5 - Oct. 5.
