Bipartisan bill would ensure RV industry can participate in duty-free program
from U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly
Three U.S. senators have introduced a bill to ensure that the RV industry can fully participate in the federal duty-free trade program. The program currently uses industry production data from 1995 to determine who can participate. The bill, introduced by Senators Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Joni Ernst (R-IA), and Rob Portman (R-OH), would require the government to use current data. RV and other manufacturers could benefit from reduced tariffs.
