State senators delay vote on McMaster school bus veto
from Greenville News
State senators delayed a vote on Gov. Henry McMaster's veto of $17.5 million for school buses. Senate Finance chairman Hugh Leatherman, in brief remarks, said he wanted to give senators more time to consider the governor's vetoes as well as the House's actions on those vetoes. Recently, the Republican-led House voted by 107-8 to override the $17.5 million veto. House lawmakers also voted 112-1 to override another McMaster veto of an additional $3 million for buses.
