|United Planet Seminar In Curriculum Development For International Service-Learning
United Planet is pleased to announce its Seminar in Curriculum Development for International Service-Learning, a professional development training experience for administrators, faculty and staff, held in Quito, Ecuador from May 19-26, 2018. The seminar focuses on integrating international service experience into a course, integrating
course subject matter with students' service experience, promoting intercultural effectiveness and humility, pedagogy, and logistics.
Dr. Timothy Stanton, Engaged Scholar for Ravensong Associates, Director Emeritus of Stanford University's Bing Overseas Studies Program in Cape Town, South Africa and Engaged Scholar for Campus Compact, will facilitate the course. Cost of Seminar is $3,695* which includes:
Optional excursions to the Galápagos Islands and the Amazon Rainforest can be added for an
additional fee. Scholarships are available: One $500 scholarship per university for a professor or administrator.
