Toronto parents call on city to make good on child-care funding promise

Toronto families are holding the city accountable for not matching a portion of new provincial and federal funding for child care, which they claim is costing them hundreds of dollars each month. Parents of young children, who are also child-care advocates, said they are appalled the city has not committed $11 million in its 2018 budget, as decided last year, to increase the number of affordable, quality child-care spaces in Toronto.
