Q4 carwash revenues and cycles up 20 per cent vs. last year
The Canadian Carwash Association has released the 2017 fourth quarter results of the Wash Volume Report (WVR) reporting that average revenue per site was up 20 per cent at $75,211 compared to $51,378 in the fourth quarter of 2016. The average number of cycles per site was 7,222 up 20 per cent, compared to the 2016 fourth quarter results. Average revenue per cycle was $10.41, which was up 16 per cent compared to 2016 quarterly results. Full results are available on the CCA website for members.
Undertaken for the CCA by Kent Group Ltd., a research firm specializing in the gas station and car wash industry, the WVR is a national quarterly survey of carwash sites. Members of the CCA may participate in the WVR program and receive results specific to their regional at no extra cost beyond their membership fee.
