 Officials discuss neighborhood development, safety

As some Temple neighborhoods continue to flourish, city officials are trying to ensure aging parts of the city aren't neglected. District 2 City Councilwoman Judy Morales held a public forum Feb. 27 to discuss neighborhood revitalization, downtown development and safety. City Manager Brynn Myers said she believes the city's Neighborhood Revitalization Plan is ready to yield results. One incentive is through the city's Infill Redevelopment Program, which offers assistance to developers willing to build on those vacant lots. more
