Another study has confirmed that autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (aHSCT) improves survival in patients with multiple myeloma (MM). A retrospective analysis of California databases showed that overall survival (OS) for patients with MM who received a transplant was 73 months, significantly longer than the 48 months for those who did not.
