MI Risk Lower With Direct Oral Anticoagulants Versus Vitamin K Antagonists
Compared with vitamin K antagonists such as warfarin, direct oral anticoagulants were associated with lower risk for myocardial infarction (MI) in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, according to a retrospective cohort study. There was no difference in MI risk among the direct oral anticoagulants, researchers reported.
