New Bill Would Allow Military Vets, Service Members To Get Ohio Concealed Carry Permits Without Training
Military veterans and service members could soon get or renew concealed carry permits without any training or paying a fee. The new bill is set to become law in Ohio, without Governor Kasich's signature. Cleveland.com says Kasich is not signing the bill in protest to state legislators stalling on passing his gun-policy reforms. Currently, active military members are the only ones exempt from taking a concealed carry class, per the Ohio Attorney General's website.
