Police officers are just like everybody else — we want to look good, perform our job to the best of our abilities and not end up looking like Dennis Franz (note to millennials: Google "NYPD Blue"). But working long shifts, overtime and special details may seem to limit the time we have available for exercise, but the reality is you don't need a lot of time.
