AT&T readies drones, other equipment in Carolinas as Hurricane Florence approaches

The Dallas telecommunications and media company is taking a broad approach. The efforts include readying emergency equipment for communications, including drones; offering special information on television channels; and promising unlimited access to wireless service for the most affected areas. The company has created a website hub that's providing updates and options.
