2019 Jeep Cherokee is recalled over stalling risk
More than 86,000 Jeep Cherokee SUVs are being recalled due to a software problem that can cause the vehicles to stall when drivers slow to a stop. The recall is limited to 2019 Cherokees with the 2.4-liter engine, according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Jeep’s parent company. FCA says that a stall may happen "in rare instances," but if it does, drivers may be able to restart the vehicle immediately.
