Polymer film banishes defects from perovskite solar cells
from Chemical & Engineering News
Even as perovskite solar cells gallop towards commercial applications, researchers are still tweaking the cells’ innards to ensure they have a long and productive life once they leave the lab. A team led by Yang Yang at the University of California, Los Angeles has now used a polymer film to reduce defects in the light-absorbing perovskite, producing cells that are efficient and relatively robust.
