In A Violent Year For Journalists, US Among The Deadliest Countries For First Time
In a year when reporters have been decried as the "enemy of the people" from the highest echelons of government, the United States made its dubious debut among the deadliest countries for journalists. Reporters Without Borders — known internationally as Reporters Sans Frontières, or RSF — has released its lists of journalists who went missing, or were killed, detained or held hostage between Jan. 1 and Dec. 1, 2018.
