Facebook Is Giving Developers More Clarity on Rate Limits
Facebook is giving application developers new tools to help protect them against reaching their rate limits. Rate limits are defined as the maximum number of calls an app can make to the social network's application-programming interfaces within a specific time period, and Facebook uses them to protect the integrity of its platform, as well as to prevent malicious activity.
