from North Jersey Record
A bill that would provide $500,000 annually to manage and maintain Greenwood Lake is progressing toward a vital vote in Trenton, New Jersey. As the headwaters for the Wanaque Reservoir system, the lake supplies 3.5 million people with drinking water each day. The lake is an important natural, economic and recreational resource, said one of the bill's primary sponsors, Republican Jay Webber.
