From DCF: Free Naloxone Available for Hospitals
The Florida Department of Children and Families' Overdose Prevention Program is offering free naloxone kits to hospital emergency departments (EDs) in effort to reduce community-level opioid overdose mortality. Hospital EDs can operate under non-patient specific naloxone standing orders to distribute take-home naloxone kits upon discharge directly to individuals at risk of experiencing an opioid overdose and to loved ones that may witness an overdose.
