Domestic violence victims worry bail reform bill could put abusers back on the street
Domestic violence is an all-too-common problem, according to leaders in Rochester, New York. The Monroe County Domestic Violence Consortium held its 20th annual Legislative Breakfast Friday morning where activists pushed for more specific language in Governor Cuomo's "bail reform" bill. They say that right now the bill's vague language could mean poor protections for domestic violence victims.
