Measles outbreak: Bill to end vaccine exemptions gets a big boost in New York
A bill to end New York residents' ability to refuse required vaccinations on religious grounds received a boost recently when Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said there's enough support to pass it in the state Senate. Its future, however, still remains unclear as Democratic leaders continue to gauge whether enough Assembly members would back the measure.
