 Fabricating art: Local girl welds a business

from The Milton Independent

Among the colorful, diverse pieces of art on display at the Milton Artists Guild are welded sculptures made from nuts, bolts and other small pieces of metal. Unlike most of the other work on display, the sculptures were made by a middle school student, Alissa Kenwood. Kenwood’s journey into the art world began with an interest in welding, sparked by a favorite TV show, Mythbusters. more
