Centers for Disease Control committee: HPV vaccine could benefit adults up to 45
from ADA News
Men and women as old as 45 could benefit from receiving the human papillomavirus vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recently voted. While the HPV vaccine is recommended for boys and girls during adolescence, this new recommendation states patients between the ages of 27 and 45 who have not been vaccinated adequately should discuss with their physician whether catch-up vaccination is right for them.
