Kathleen Davis writes: "So, tell me a little about yourself . . .” I’ll admit, like nearly every hiring manager on the planet, I usually start most job interviews with some version of this question. But I know from the times I’ve sat on the other side of the table, this seemingly softball question can be nerve-wracking. It feels a little like a personality test. But here’s a hint: Your answer shouldn’t be your life story, shouldn’t take you more than a minute or two to tell, and should focus mostly on the career path that led you to want to work at that company.
