Fuel cell systems bring new perks to the CV industry
from Automotive World
Having spent a century refining internal combustion engines (ICEs), the automotive industry’s foray into the world of hydrogen fuel cell powertrains remains in relative infancy. Primitive examples of the technology itself has been around since the mid-1800s, but manufacturing those systems at scale in a strict automotive environment is a new and significant challenge. For the most part, these units will be used primarily as a replacement for traditional gasoline, diesel and natural gas combustion engines, but there are other use cases to consider as well.
