Injured Georgia vineyard owner gets help harvesting his grapes — from his nurses
from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
When a serious injury rendered a vineyard owner unable to tend to his grapes during harvest season, the nurses treating him stepped in to help. Jack Walker suffered burns over 40% of his body and has been at WellStar Cobb Hospital since the incident, his wife said. So the nurses treating Walker decided to lend a hand. “Miss Carolyn has kind of become our adopted grandma,” burn unit nurse Carley Burleson said.
