Dan Martin, NGS/NOAA will be speaking on "Working in the Modernized NSRS". In 2022, NGS will be replacing the US horizontal and vertical datums (NAD 83 and NAVD 88). By now, many if not most are aware of this fact, but what does that mean for users of the NSRS. Along with the relatively simple fact that datums will change in 2022, comes a whole new paradigm, where we acknowledge and embrace time-dependency within the NSRS. This presentation will discuss this new paradigm, and begin to explain how we as users will work within the modernized NSRS. Registration is at the door. One PDH will be offered.
