Reinforcing good oral health care habits as Halloween approaches
from California Dental Association
In the days leading up to Halloween and on National Brush Day, November 1, dentists and their staff can reinforce the importance of good teeth-brushing habits to help remove sugary candy residue and prevent oral disease. National Brush Day is in its seventh year and is part of the Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign, which was launched in 2012 by the Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives and the Ad Council. CDA was among the 36 dental organizations that oversaw the development of research-based campaign messages.
