Americans aren't drawn to teaching; see funding, discipline as problems

Americans have long admired school teachers but still tend to view teaching as an undesirable job to pursue. Insufficient funding and discipline problems continue to rank highest as school concerns. Just 30% of American Adults think most Americans consider teaching a desirable profession to go into, basically unchanged from past surveying. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 42% disagree, although that's down from a high of 52% in early 2012. A sizable 28% are not sure.
